Xfx Geforce 9600 Gso Drivers
I just purchased one of these cards the other day and i am very disappointed. Here is the link. I am not sure if something is set wrong, and i have tried the latest drivers from Nvidia.
Jan 17, 2018 - Im having problem with windows 7 in driver i have the card xfx nvidia geforce 9600 gso 768mb fatality1 play hard when i install the nvidia. Primavera p6 software full version with crack head of foot.
My Aquamark 3 scores are right around 87k. My specs are: AMD Athlon 64 6000x2 3.1 ASUS M3A78-CM AMD 780V 4gb ddr 800 ram Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit Antec Truepower 430 22in 1680x1050 I know this is a budget card, and wasn't expecting a ton, but what exactly is the problem with this card? Is it the Gddr2. If so i plan on returning it and some suggestions below $150 would be great. Since I just ordered the 9600 GSO 768 on eBay for $50, it is the clear cut winner for me.
I will be selling my HD3450 for the same price and basically getting a free upgrade. Go ahead and spend money if you need to. I actually decided to just buy more games and deal with the low end 3450 for a while, but accidentally stumbled upon the deal as someone bought a new card and priced it to sell fast (as I have done in the past myself). This should hold me over until there's a 295 for $50 in a few years lol. I believe that this 768mb version only uses ddr2 @ 1000mhz.
This slower ram will greatly hurt the performance, especially since these cards only have a 192bit bus. So, a 4670 probably will outperform it. The 9600gso with 96 stream processors and 384mb ddr3 is a better card. DDR2 memory only hurts if the only thing your going to do with the card is run benchmark tests. You have a 768mb graphics buffer.
I have this card and it runs everything I throw at it from PONG to TETRIS. Just kidding. Its a good card for under $100.
All the latest titles run at high resolutions. A couple get chooppy but i just drop the resolution down a bit. You dont even notice the difference in resolution.
