I am tried of using 2 inch think masking tape on wax paper. Not very easy to do. From what I know, frisket film is designed for flat pieces, like a hang-on-the-wall painting, so I don't believe it would work work really well on a contoured rc car body.

I believe Charlie does most of his stuff freehand with LM or masking tape, he has years of experience, so it's easier for him. I'm not sure how well this would work, but it's a shot: if you really had to print it out then you could print it on regualar paper, take it out of the printer and lay it over vinyl and cut through both layers.
